Is RegFile legal advice?
No. RegFile is software that prepares filings from your data and public records. It's informational, not legal advice — you review and authorize every filing, and you can always verify against your adopted rule.
Who has to electronically file OSHA Form 300A?
Two groups must submit their 300A to OSHA's Injury Tracking Application: establishments with 250+ employees that aren't in a partially-exempt industry, and establishments with 20–249 employees in a designated high-hazard industry. Not sure which applies to you? The filing checker answers it in about 30 seconds.
When is the OSHA 300A deadline?
The 300A for the prior calendar year is due March 2 every year. If you miss it, OSHA still accepts late submissions through December 31 — but a missed filing can draw a citation, so it's best to file on time.
Who signs the 300A — do I need a lawyer or a safety professional?
No licensed professional is required. A company executive — an owner, an officer, or the highest-ranking on-site manager — certifies the summary. That's part of why RegFile can handle the whole filing for you: you review and authorize, and we file.
