Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what RegFile, Inc.("RegFile") collects, why, and how we protect it. It's written plainly; it isn't legal advice.

What we collect

  • Account & contact details — your name, email, business, and role.
  • Filing data — the records you upload or connect (e.g. OSHA 300 logs) and the establishment details used to prepare a filing.
  • Usage data — basic analytics about how the site and app are used, to improve them.
  • Public records — data regulators publish (such as OSHA's ITA dataset) that we use to identify deadlines and reach businesses.

How we use it

  • To prepare, check, and submit your filings — only after you authorize them.
  • To remind you of deadlines and keep proof of what was filed.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our service.

How we share it

We share data with the regulator when you authorize a filing, and with infrastructure providers that run our service under confidentiality obligations. We don't sell your personal information.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is least-privilege, and every filing keeps a tamper-evident record. See our security page for more.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your data, and you can opt out of mail at any time. Contact hello@regfile.org with any privacy request.
